Kathie Farr was elected as a City Council Member in 1999, and has consistently contributed to developing policies to strengthen the city. She collaborates with other council members to create planning and zoning regulations, develop the annual budget, and assists in bringing forth new economic development initiatives and creating plans to ensure employee retention. Kathie served as Vice Mayor from 2009-2012.

Council Member Farr received the Arizona League of Cities Dedicated Involvement Award and various leadership achievement awards from National League of Cities.
As a 38 year resident of Tolleson, Kathie is passionate about serving all residents of Tolleson. She is the mother of four children and grandmother to seven.
